How much does it cost?
$1.50 per accountholder per month, with a $10 minimum monthly fee.

How will changes to contribution amounts and the addition of new participants be processed?
The Employer will log into the Single Point Billing Website to process changes for contribution amounts and the addition of new participants.

How is the money obtained to fund participant accounts?
The Single Point Billing System will total the entire amount of contributions required for a group during a billing period. The employer will accept the billed amount on line and EBDS will then initiate an ACH debit to the employer account that was specified in the Single Point Billing New Group Information Sheet.

How frequently will funding occur?
Funding of accounts will occur once a month. Due to this requirement, Employers will need to be sure that contributions are taken from individual accounts during the latest pay period of a given month.

Will Employers be required to keep a dedicated account for contributions?
This is the decision of the employer. EBDS will debit the account that is provided by the Employer. The employer will be billed a $25 fee for each occurrence when their account is not adequately funded.

When the employer account is debited, how long will it take for the contributions to arrive at the individuals Health Savings Account?
From the point that the account is debited, the employer can expect it to take four business days for the money to reach the individuals Health Savings Accounts.

What if an employee has not established a Health Savings Account?
The Employer will be required to verify that an individual has established an account prior to setting the individual's record up on the Single Point Billing Website. In the event that an account is not established, the system will not allow the transaction to be completed.
